Party Poker is NOT open to US players anymore. Party Poker has great games and due to their high volume they are able to put their profits back into numerous promotions, a VIP program, special events, freerolls and membership referral incentives. There are many loose games even at the highest limits. Party Poker also has beginner’s tables which let you play with other new players for a period of 45 days.

Party Poker has a seemingly constant stream of new players - both inexperienced players and gamblers who provide lots of action at all limits.

Party Poker still has very good traffic after losing the US player base.

Tournament Traffic (7)

Besides Texas Holdem there are lots of tournaments in 7-card stud and Omaha Hi/Lo. Any tournament you want you won’t have to wait long.

Game Selection (9)

Party Poker does not offer heads-up matches, but otherwise has a very good selection. Sit'n'Go tournaments start at $5 buy-ins and go up to $200. Holdem limit games start at $0.5-$1 (even lower at the beginner’s tables) and go up to $100-200. The No-Limit/Pot-Limit Holdem games start at blinds of $0.10-$0.25 and go up to $10-$20.

The rake is collected as high as 10% in $0.50/$1 and $1/$2 games. There is also a ridiculous 20% fee for $5 tournaments. The $10 tournaments have a normal 10% charge and it is 8% for the higher limit tournaments. Party compensates for the poor rake on low limits with frequent bonuses that are offered on an individual basis and increase based on how much you play.

Party Poker offers cruises, constant unique monthly promotions and numerous freerolls - including some even to get sponsored for the WSOP! Players are also offered individual promotions, which increase in value based on the number of raked hands played.

Party Poker's software is top notch with a recent upgrade that provides even easier functionality. Disconnects are very rare. Simple avatars make for easy viewing and playability. Poker Tracker stores and summarizes hand history data that can be downloaded from your poker site. It’s a valuable tool and if used properly will significantly increase your profits.
